Ways to Give

Financial Support

A Sound Investment in Our Future
Did you know that your donation does much more than help a homeless family or individual? Your generous donation helps break the cycle of homelessness by providing stable housing for those who need it the most – children. HomeAid helps people get back on their feet by providing them with newly renovated homes they can be proud of. Research shows that good housing improves health, increases children’s educational achievement, and strengthens community ties. Read our Annual Report to find out how HomeAid makes a difference by building what matters most.

Current Campaigns
Dreams Begin at Home 2017 HomeAid Northern Virginia Annual Campaign
While corporate homebuilders, trade partners and suppliers provide the much-needed in-kind support for projects, HomeAid relies on the generosity of individuals, foundations and companies for financial support of our programs and operations. HomeAid raises money to support our shelter partners in many ways including our Shelter Program which includes our projects (both new construction and renovations or expansions), the annual Baseball Night for shelter families, the annual Housing Forum which brings together shelter agencies, government leaders, and other local stakeholders for a Northern Virginia-focused discussion of current housing and homeless issues. Your personal or corporate donation is critical to our ability to continue to take on projects and provide services for the shelter community. Thank you for your generous donation!

Workplace Giving and Employer Matching
Double Your Donation’s Impact
Many employers will match tax-deductible charitable contributions made by their employees, retirees and employees’ spouses. Some provide matching funds to support employee volunteer hours. Check your company’s policies to see if they provide matching funds to charitable organizations like HomeAid Northern Virginia.

Make your donation today!

HomeAid Northern Virginia is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Your gift is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
